DIY Citizen Science kit to create measurement tools for environmental phenomena. Single SenseBoxes for citizens and a big box for schools for learning to code.

High school students develop mobile (geo-)apps for elderly people. The learn to code, perform usability tests and communicate their results.

User centered web-based GIS with socio-demographic data about Westphalia. Developed with several usability studies with high school students and teachers.

NASA World Wind application to visualize linked data in relation to natural disasters in Europe.

High School students work on scientific projects in form of a virtual start-up. In cooperation with Esri Germany and 52°north. Project at MExLab ExperiMINTe.

Development of an exhibit to communicate scientific results about the Amazon deforestation through gestural interaction with linked data.

Development of Ori-Gami (Orientation Gaming), a gamified mobile app for spatial learning of orientation, map reading and wayfinding.

Development of a FTIR-Multi-Touch Table for the WWU Science Transfer Department (AFO) as an Exhibit in the Expedition Münsterland project.

Organization of high school projects with a mobile FTIR-Multi Touch Table, Wii-Balance Board controlled Google Earth and Geocaching.
